On Friday 14th August, members of our Operations team had the pleasure of supporting The Winch’s End of Summer Party, serving lunch to children, young people and families from the local community.

The Winch is a charity supporting thousands of children, young people and families across Camden, helping to make the hopes and ambitions of their community a reality.

For children with food allergies, the school day can bring additional challenges. Mealtimes, in particular, require careful planning, clear communication and robust allergen controls to help ensure every child can eat safely and confidently.

What a summer it’s been! From sunny days and seaside adventures to Viking tales, exciting food experiences and plenty of opportunities to celebrate, our 2026 Summer Term has been packed with fun, flavour and unforgettable moments.

The working day can look very different depending on our roles. Some colleagues may spend their day in an office, while others are preparing meals in a busy school kitchen, working through service periods or spending long periods on their feet. Whatever our role, the food and drink we choose can play an important part in supporting how we feel, work and recover throughout the day.
