At Accent Catering, we believe school meals should be more than just food on a plate, they should spark curiosity, fuel learning and begin a lifelong journey with food.

We create vibrant, nutritious meals that combine fun, flavour and education, helping children develop positive food experiences from the very start.

On the menu

Our menus are designed to balance comfort and curiosity.

Children can enjoy classic favourites such as mac and cheese, traditional roasts, mild curries and freshly prepared daily specials. We keep dishes simple and recognisable while gently introducing new flavours and ingredients, helping children build confidence with food and enjoy trying something new.

Every dish is nutritionally balanced, developed by our experts and fully compliant with School Food Standards. Made with seasonal ingredients and prepared from scratch, our meals are packed with flavour and designed to help children thrive.

Beyond the
dining room

Food is a powerful way to explore the world.

We transform everyday school meals into engaging experiences through themed days and seasonal events. From Circus Day and Lunar New Year to Easter and Christmas celebrations, our menus bring food, culture, tradition and fun together in exciting and memorable ways.

Beyond the dining hall, our nutrition team delivers hands-on, age-appropriate workshops such as Eat the Rainbow, helping children discover the importance of variety and the benefits that different coloured fruit and vegetables provide. Through interactive learning, we inspire curiosity and encourage children to learn more about where food comes from and how it supports their wellbeing.

Allergens & special diets

We are committed to creating a safe dining environment where every child feels confident and included.

We are a “Nut Aware” company and we don’t include either tree nuts or peanuts as an ingredient in any of our dishes; this means we cannot guarantee any of our food is totally allergen free as we have a number of the 14 regulated allergens being used in our kitchen areas.

Our salad bars in Primary schools are allergy aware and made without any of the 14 regulated allergens reducing the risk of cross contamination in these self-serve areas and creates a safe and nutritious choice for all pupils to enjoy. Our catering & nutrition teams are always available to discuss pupil requirements with parents should this be required.

In-line with Benedict’s Law our catering teams carry out annual allergen awareness training, including the safe use of an AAI (Adrenaline Auto Injector).
