Inspiring the next generation

At Accent, we believe food should do more than satisfy hunger, it should help students feel their best, perform at their best and enjoy every school day.

That's why over 98% of our food is prepared from fresh ingredients by teams who are passionate about great food. You won't find packet mixes or ready-made sauces in our kitchens, just real ingredients, freshly prepared with care. We source sustainably caught fish, use British fruit and vegetables wherever possible and create balanced meals that are nutritious, flavourful and made to fuel busy school days.

On the menu

We know students want food that tastes great and gives them plenty of choice.

From global flavours and street-food favourites to healthier twists on familiar classics, our chefs create menus that students genuinely enjoy, making healthier choices feel natural. Every day, students can choose from a wide range of hot meals, plant-based dishes, freshly made sandwiches, salads, desserts and fresh fruit.

Our menus are shaped by both nutrition experts and student feedback, ensuring they remain balanced, relevant and exciting throughout the year.

Beyond the
dining room

We believe lunchtimes should feel more like a visit to a favourite café or restaurant — offering great food, plenty of choice and a welcoming space to relax and recharge.

Throughout the year, we bring our menus to life with themed events, celebration days and our popular Pop-Up Kitchens. From Lunar New Year and Bonfire Night to Indo-Mex Fusion Burritos, Greek Gyros and Korean-inspired street food, there's always something new to discover.

Our meal deals are designed to offer great value, giving students access to substantial, balanced lunches at a fixed price, helping make lunchtime a positive and enjoyable part of the school day.

Allergens & special diets

Student wellbeing is our priority.

Our catering & nutrition teams are always available to discuss pupil requirements with parents should this be required.

We are a “Nut Aware” company and we don’t include either tree nuts or peanuts as an ingredient in any of our dishes; this means we cannot guarantee that our food offer is totally Nut Free as some of the products we serve carry a precautionary MAY CONTAINS nuts allergen declaration which is added by the manufacturer.

Any of the 14 regulated allergens, including May Contains, will be clearly identified on our daily menus to enable our customers to make an informed choice about what they can choose at the point of service.

All pre-packaged foods are clearly labelled, providing a full list of ingredients with the 14 regulated allergens present highlighted in bold, providing complete transparency and reassurance for pupils and parents alike.

In-line with Benedict’s Law our catering teams carry out annual allergen awareness training, including the safe use of an AAI (Adrenaline Auto Injector).
