We’re proud to be your new school caterer!

Welcome!

From September 2026, Accent Catering will be providing freshly cooked meals at your school. Our focus is on creating food children love to eat, while reassuring parents that meals are nutritious, safely prepared and carefully planned.

We understand that every child is different. Some are adventurous eaters, others prefer familiar favourites and many fall somewhere in between. Our three-week rotating menus are carefully designed to offer variety and choice, ensuring there is always something comforting alongside opportunities to try new foods in a positive and relaxed way. Parent feedback is important to us, and menus are regularly reviewed to ensure they continue to meet the needs and preferences of the school community.

Making Mealtimes Enjoyable

Your school will have a dedicated catering team based on site, allowing our chefs to get to know the children, their tastes and their dietary needs.

By building these relationships, our team can gently encourage children to explore new foods, making lunchtime a happy and sociable part of the school day. Our chefs don’t just stay in the kitchen. We bring food education into the dining room and classroom, talking to children about ingredients, cooking and where food comes from. Throughout the year, we will host special events such as food festivals, themed days and curriculum-linked activities to get children excited about food. We have some exciting new marketing in the works for you but here’s a taste of what was in store last year.

Nutrition You Can Trust

All meals are cooked on site using fresh ingredients, with a strong focus on quality and sustainability.

Our meat is responsibly sourced, fruit and vegetables are UK-sourced where possible, and fish comes from sustainable stocks. Our chefs cook from scratch, using no packet mixes or readymade sauces, creating meals that are both nutritious and great tasting.

Menus are approved by our qualified nutritionist to ensure children receive the nutrients they need to support learning, growth and wellbeing.

Allergens & Special Diets

We are committed to creating a safe dining environment where every child feels confident and included.

We are a “Nut Aware” company and we don’t include either tree nuts or peanuts as an ingredient in any of our dishes; this means we cannot guarantee any of our food is totally allergen free as we have a number of the 14 regulated allergens being used in our kitchen areas.

Our salad bars in Primary schools are allergy aware and made without any of the 14 regulated allergens reducing the risk of cross contamination in these self-serve areas and creates a safe and nutritious choice for all pupils to enjoy. Our catering & nutrition teams are always available to discuss pupil requirements with parents should this be required.

In-line with Benedict’s Law our catering teams carry out annual allergen awareness training, including the safe use of an AAI (Adrenaline Auto Injector).
